BMJ Consulting Services, Pty. Inc offers several employee scheduling products, including AceShiftOne, AceShift and RosterNet. The US versions include AceShiftOne and AceShift.
This company’s employee scheduling software can be either installed or hosted on their servers, and depending on the version can support multiple or single locations. AceShiftOne supports a single location and cost less than $500, whereas AceShift supports multiple locations for just over $800.
AceShift includes most of the primary features we were looking for including the ability to store employee information, export data, backup files and password protect access. Schedules can be printed, emailed, posted online or sent as a text message to an employee cell phone.
This product has greatly improved its installation process since the time we first reviewed it, we found the installation process this time quick and easy. We were also able to easily insert employee information and create a simple schedule without consulting the help files. The program is compatible with common programs like Access and Excel and data can be stored as CSV or XML files, so AceShiftOne is compatible with most payroll and financial software.
The only thing we would have really liked to see more of in this employee scheduling software is reporting. Some employee scheduling programs offer 20 or more reports, which can be useful for companies with numerous locations and a large number of employees. But if reporting is a function your company does not need, than AceShiftOne’s free trial is worth trying out to see if it can satisfy your scheduling needs.
