Our #6 employee scheduling software is Schedule24 formerly know as ItelliRister from Intellicate, Ltd. With a large feature set, yet this product only has a few reporting capabilities.

Feature Set:  

Schedule24 offers many helpful features, including the ability to schedule employees in multiple locations, schedule multiple shifts for an employee during the same day and the ability to assign either hours or tasks. You can also manage employee information, print schedules (individual and group), color code shifts, post schedules online and more.

Some features this product does not include are backup and restoration capabilities, password protection, and the ability to import and export data.

Ease of Use/Setup:  

Schedule24 has a 'Personal Manager' section when you first load the program. The Personal Manager allows you to add your employees and their personal information (i.e. address, contact info and notes) to the program.

Once all of your employees are entered, then you assign them shifts by selecting the 'Assignments' section, located under the 'Scheduling' portion of the program or by right-clicking on the appropriate schedule slot. After you've done that, you then right-click the schedule slot and select the 'Work Period Editor' to add the date to the selected schedule.

Although there are some small icons placed underneath the menu bar, which can help speed up this process, we didn't notice them until it was too late. By increasing the size of these icons and including a setup wizard, Intellicate, Ltd. could make this product a great deal easier to use.

Reporting Capabilities:  

Schedule24 does offer three separate schedule views, daily, weekly and monthly, along with a few reports on employees and their shifts. The only thing is that we couldn't find the reports on the employees on the first pass of this program. If you are comparing Intelliroster Lite to some of the other employees scheduling programs, then this product comes up shy as far as reporting capabilities.

Ease of Installation:  

We experienced no problems while installing Schedule24.

Summary:  

If reporting is not important to you then Schedule24 by Intellicate, Ltd. may be a good fit for your company. Otherwise, we suggest going for the gold and checking out #1-ranked, WhenToWork.
